Continuous rain is causing hardship for people in the mountainous areas of Nghe An province as their rice crops are sprouting.

Unseasonal rains, occurring right during the rice harvest season, have plunged many households in the mountainous areas of Nghe An province into hardship.

“This harvest was bountiful, but we didn't have time to celebrate. Now, the newly harvested rice has been raining for several days, and even using fans to dry it is useless. It's heartbreaking to see the rice sprouting all over the yard.
