Earlier, at noon on July 11th, Mr. Tung reported to the Ea Hleo District Police that his family had locked the door and gone out that morning because they had an errand to run. When they returned around noon, they found the door lock cut and the house ransacked.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that 75.6 taels of gold (9999 purity) that the family had kept in a cabinet had been stolen. Remarkably, after cutting the door lock, the thieves also took the lock with them.

Upon receiving the report, the Ea Hleo District Police arrived at the scene to investigate and clarify the matter. Because this was a theft involving significant property damage, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dak Lak Provincial Police also arrived to cooperate in the investigation.
