On the afternoon of February 27, Cam Le District Police (Da Nang) informed that the District Police's Criminal Police Team promptly arrested Nguyen Hoang Tu (born in 1989, residing in Song Hinh District, Phu Yen Province), the suspect who caused a series of lock-breaking and motorbike thefts in several districts of Da Nang City.

According to the police, within just 3 days, Tu had stolen a series of valuable Honda scooters. Specifically, at around 4:00 p.m. on February 24, Tu took a bus from Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province to Da Nang bus station. After that, he went to the Cao Son Phao - Nguyen Van Tao intersection and discovered a Honda motorbike with license plate 92 E1 - 58... parked on the sidewalk. He immediately broke the lock and sped away towards Dien Bien Phu Street.
The car was then pawned by Tu for 6.5 million VND and then spent all this money on playing games. On the morning of February 25, Tu continued to carry out the second car theft. At this time, at house number 209 Le Duan Street, after following and observing the owner of the Honda Airblade with license plate 75H - 39... parked the car on the sidewalk without looking after it.

Taking advantage of the time when many people were passing by and trading goods on this busiest street in Da Nang, Tu immediately approached, quickly broke the electric lock and took the motorbike away. After that, Tu sold the stolen motorbike to an unknown person for more than 5 million VND. Tu used all of this money to continue renting a gaming machine and spending it for personal use.
But Tu's fun with the game machine did not last long when on the morning of February 27, Tu was tracked down and arrested by Cam Le District Police.
