On the afternoon of February 27th, the Cam Le District Police (Da Nang) announced that their Criminal Investigation Team had successfully apprehended Nguyen Hoang Tu (born in 1989, residing in Song Hinh District, Phu Yen Province), a suspect in a series of motorcycle thefts and break-ins in several districts and counties of Da Nang City.

The suspect is Nguyen Hoang Tu.

According to the police, within just three days, Tu stole a series of valuable Honda scooters. Specifically, at around 4 PM on February 24th, Tu took a bus from Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh province to Da Nang bus station. Afterward, he went to the intersection of Cao Son Phao and Nguyen Van Tao streets, spotted a Honda motorcycle with license plate 92 E1 – 58... parked on the sidewalk, immediately broke the lock, and sped away towards Dien Bien Phu street.

Tú then pawned the motorbike for 6.5 million VND and squandered all the money on video games. On the morning of February 25th, Tú attempted a second motorbike theft. This time, at house number 209 on Le Duan Street, after observing the owner of a Honda Airblade motorbike with license plate 75H – 39... parked unattended on the sidewalk, he decided to steal it.

Taking advantage of the busy traffic and trading activity on this busiest street in Da Nang, Tu quickly approached the motorbike, broke the ignition lock, and rode away. Afterward, Tu sold the stolen motorbike cheaply to an unknown individual for over 5 million dong. He used all of this money to rent game consoles and for personal expenses.

But Tú's fun with the game console didn't last long, as on the morning of February 27th, Tú was tracked down and arrested by the Cẩm Lệ District Police.
