Stealing property from relatives and then renting a hotel room to enjoy themselves.

(Baonghean.vn) - After stealing a motorbike, a laptop, and jewelry, Tin asked someone to sell them for him, then used the money to rent a hotel room, eat, sleep, and play video games.

On the afternoon of April 15th, the Dien Chau District Police announced that they had clarified a theft case in which the perpetrator was only 15 years old but acted very recklessly.

Due to their acquaintance and frequent visits, Phan Trung Tín (born in 2002, residing in Trung Hồng hamlet, Diễn Hồng commune) knew the daily routine and location of the house keys of Ms. Phạm Thị Lan's family in Hamlet 5, Diễn Tháp commune (Diễn Châu).

At around 8 PM on April 6th, while Lan's family was away, Tin broke into the house. He went into the bedroom and tried to break the safe lock with a hammer and pliers, but was unsuccessful.

Next, Tin ransacked the house and took a motorbike, a laptop, and some gold jewelry.

After stealing the property, Tin ran back to Dien Truong commune and asked Dung (residing in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district) and Nguyen (residing in Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district) to sell the motorbike and laptop for 6.5 million VND.

With that money, Tin rented a hotel room to eat, sleep, and play video games for days on end.

After receiving Ms. Lan's report, the police narrowed down the search area and looked for clues. After many days of searching, the police had enough evidence to confirm that Tin was the perpetrator of the theft, so they persuaded Tin to surrender.

At the police station, Tin sincerely confessed to his crime. Tin comes from a difficult family background and, due to his dissolute lifestyle, had dropped out of school a long time ago.

The police are finalizing the case files to prosecute the suspects in accordance with regulations.
