At 9:00 AM on April 1st, the Hoi Son Commune Police received a report from Mr. Van Ba ​​Ky (born in 1948), residing in Hamlet 5, Hoi Son Commune, Anh Son District, regarding a burglary at his home where a Samsung phone and 24.4 million VND in cash were stolen. Upon receiving the report, the commune police promptly investigated the incident and searched for suspected individuals in the area. Among them, Hoang Huu Nam emerged as a suspect. He was unemployed, had a prior criminal record for theft, and had been sentenced to 40 months in prison.

Through professional investigative measures, at 6 PM on the same day, the Hoi Son Commune Police arrested Hoang Huu Nam (born in 1987), residing in Hamlet 4, Hoi Son Commune, who was the perpetrator of the crime, and confiscated the phone and all the money mentioned above.

At the police station, Hoang Huu Nam confessed that, knowing Mr. Ky's family had recently sold some melaleuca trees, he had repeatedly observed their daily routines, waiting for an opportunity to steal them.

On March 28th, Nam attempted to break into Mr. Ky's house but failed. On the night of March 31st, taking advantage of the family watching television, he broke into the bedroom, rummaged through the wardrobe, and stole 24.4 million VND in cash and a mobile phone. However, before he could spend the money, at 6 PM on April 1st, Nam was arrested by the Hoi Son Commune Police. At the time of his arrest, Hoang Huu Nam was still at home, not expecting that his clandestine actions would be so quickly discovered by the commune police.

Currently, the case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Agency of Anh Son District Police for handling according to the law.
