The National Assembly voted to establish Hue city under central authority.

On the morning of November 30, the 15th National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution to establish Hue city under the Central Government with 458/461 National Assembly deputies participating in the vote in favor.

Hue will be the first centrally-run city in the country to have a border.

Continuing the 8th Session Program, 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly discussed in the hall and in groups the draft Resolution on the organization of urban government in Hai Phong city; establishing Hue city directly under the Central Government.
