Live broadcast of the announcement ceremony of the establishment of new provinces, cities, wards and communes across the country
On the morning of June 30, administrative units across the country simultaneously held ceremonies to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging administrative units, establishing Party organizations, and appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces, cities, wards, communes, and special zones.
From July 1, when implementing the 2-level local government model, the country will have 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 commune-level administrative units.
