Successful salvage operation of a sunken fishing boat belonging to fishermen from Cua Lo.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Loi, Chairman of the Nghi Thuy Ward Farmers' Association, at approximately 8:00 AM this morning, a fishing boat with registration number 73168TS belonging to fisherman Vo Van Que, which was anchored at the dock north of the fish market, sank.
Upon receiving the report, members of the farmers' and fishermen's associations, in coordination with the military and local police, assisted the family in salvaging the boat. Due to heavy rain, the salvage operation proved quite difficult.
After nearly two hours of struggling in heavy rain, the boat was successfully salvaged. The boat sustained damage to both engines, the motor, and all the lighting.
The boat sank due to a faulty water shut-off valve, heavy rain, and water flooding into the boat.
