(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial Police have dismantled a drug trafficking den using firearms in the border area of ​​Tuong Duong district, arrested 1 subject, seized 3.5 heroin cakes, 4,500 methamphetamine pills, 0.5 kg of crystal meth and many military weapons.

Recently, on the top of Pu Kem mountain, Xop Pu village, Yen Na commune, Tuong Duong district, a number of Lao Mong people colluded with Vietnamese people to set up camps, using "hot weapons" to organize illegal drug trafficking. During the operation, the subjects always assigned people to guard, ready to use weapons to fight back against the authorities if discovered and arrested.

Faced with that situation, the Provincial Police Department's leaders directed the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department to coordinate with Tuong Duong District Police to establish Project 616H to fight and eradicate it.
