Trump unexpectedly ordered a military parade, showcasing his strength to crush North Korea.

Mr. Trump attended the military parade in Paris in July 2017 and was very impressed.

According to Express, the Pentagon is planning a military parade at Trump's request to hold a "celebration" to showcase the strength of the armed forces.

A U.S. military official revealed that Trump ordered the Pentagon to hold a military parade, stating, "I want a parade like the one in France."

"Currently, the highest-ranking military officials are discussing this matter," the official further emphasized.

A spectacular parade took place on Avenue des Champs-Elysees on France's National Day.

Trump was once very interested in showcasing the nation's military strength to the public and had called for a military parade after witnessing the spectacular French National Day celebrations in Paris last summer.

During a meeting at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Trump recalled the spectacular military parade on Avenue des Champs-Élyseés on France's National Day two months earlier and told reporters, "It was one of the biggest parades I've ever seen."

Trump smiled and patted French President Macron on the shoulder during a military parade in Paris in July 2017.

Responding to reporters, Pentagon spokesman Charlie Summers confirmed the news that the US is preparing for a military parade by stating that the planning process for the new parade is in its "early" stages.

The Pentagon also stated that it would consider holding the parade on Veterans Day (November 11) instead of Independence Day. The reason is that Veterans Day coincides with the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

Meanwhile, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated that President Trump has always supported America's outstanding service members, who face danger every day to protect the safety of the country. He has instructed the Department of Defense to hold a celebration that will make all Americans aware of their strength.

However, the problem causing the Pentagon a headache is the cost of this event, which is expected to run into millions of dollars.

The U.S. Army held numerous parades during World War II but later discontinued them due to the high cost of operating the heavy vehicles and weapons involved, as well as the expense of repairing the streets damaged by tank tracks after the events.

This information comes as North Korea plans to hold a grand military parade tomorrow (February 8th) involving approximately 12,000 troops, 110 artillery pieces, tanks, and armored vehicles to showcase its military might, just before the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

According to some analysts, the US holding a military parade will certainly displease North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Pyongyang recently accused Trump of being a "peace disruptor" after the US announced it would resume military exercises around the Korean Peninsula after the Winter Olympics in South Korea conclude.

"Just before the Winter Olympics, there is growing concern both domestically and internationally about the situation on the Korean Peninsula after the Games... as the U.S. announces... that it will resume joint military exercises with South Korea as soon as the Games end," North Korean news agency KCNA wrote.

"This insidious military action shatters the hard-won friendly atmosphere created by improvements in inter-Korean relations and reverses the trend of development."This represents a clear challenge to North Korea's genuine efforts to ease tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

"This situation clearly demonstrates that the United States is a troublemaker on the Korean Peninsula, the culprit behind escalating tensions, and the main obstacle on the path to reunification of the two Koreas," according to KCNA.
