Trump expels journalists from the White House.

The administration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is seriously considering the possibility of moving the White House press center to another building, Esquire magazine reported, citing three senior sources.

If the plan to relocate the press agencies is approved, media representatives would be received at the White House Convention Center near the historic Lafayette Square or in the former administration office next to the presidential residence. "No decision has been made yet," Sean Spicer magazine quoted a Trump spokesman as saying. However, he acknowledged that "there have been some discussions about how to do that."

"There's a lot of interest in President Donald Trump. The question is whether a 49-seat room is enough. When we held the press conference, we received hundreds of registrations, and were limited to 400. Whether it's possible to allow a larger number of media is something we're discussing," — Spicer explained the reason for moving the press center.

The likely reason for this shift is the media's highly hostile coverage of the president-elect's activities. "They belong to the opposition party. I want them out of this building. We're going to take over the press center," the magazine quoted a source as saying.
