Immediately after the ship docked, leaders of Vinh city and local authorities were present to encourage and present flags of support.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Loi, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Nghi Thuy Ward, said: "After Tet, fishermen have actively gone out to sea. Currently, it is the herring fishing season. At the beginning of the year, the herring harvest was abundant and the prices were good, so the fishermen are very excited and have increased their fishing trips. Many households earned tens of millions of dong in just one day at sea thanks to a bumper herring catch."

"Having received a bountiful catch at the beginning of the year, the fishermen are very excited. The local authorities have promptly encouraged and motivated the fishermen to stay in the fishing grounds and exploit marine resources to develop the economy."
