At approximately 7 PM on September 17th, Ms. Le Thi H. (residing in Le Loi Ward, Vinh City) took her child to eat porridge at a restaurant on Le Hong Phong Street. Upon arrival, Ms. H. ordered egg porridge for her child. When the owner brought out the porridge, Ms. H. noticed that the young chicken egg (with only the yolk formed) had been cut into pieces but was not broken into pieces. She picked it up and smelled it, noticing a fishy odor.

Seeing that this egg didn't look like the chicken eggs she usually ate at home, Ms. H didn't let her child eat it and bought another similar one to take home.

Ms. H. cut the egg with a knife and found that the pieces had a chewy texture like coconut jelly. She gently squeezed the egg, but instead of crumbling as usual, it popped and popped like rubber. She then tried burning the pieces over a flame. In a short time, the red pieces of egg burned black and emitted a pungent, burnt smell like burning rubber.
