Speaking at a press conference, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that regardless of the future of RCEP and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), China will continue to deepen reforms and increase opening up.

In addition, Beijing will continue to cooperate closely with World Trade Organization (WTO) members, continuously enhance the role of multilateral trade institutions, and create a freer and more favorable environment for global trade.

Hiệp định RCEP sẽ kết nối ba thị trường tiêu dùng lớn nhất thế giới là Trung Quốc, Ấn Độ, ASEAN trong một thỏa thuận liên quan đến hàng hoá, dịch vụ và đầu tư.
The RCEP agreement will connect the world's three largest consumer markets, China, India and ASEAN, in a deal covering goods, services and investment.

China is currently negotiating RCEP with 16 Asian countries, including 7 TPP members: Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
