Speaking at a press conference, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce said that regardless of the future of RCEP and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), China will continue to pursue deep reforms while strengthening its opening-up policy.

Furthermore, Beijing will continue to cooperate closely with members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), constantly strengthening the role of multilateral trade institutions and creating a freer and more favorable environment for global trade.

Hiệp định RCEP sẽ kết nối ba thị trường tiêu dùng lớn nhất thế giới là Trung Quốc, Ấn Độ, ASEAN trong một thỏa thuận liên quan đến hàng hoá, dịch vụ và đầu tư.
The RCEP agreement will connect the three largest consumer markets in the world – China, India, and ASEAN – in a single agreement covering goods, services, and investment.

China is currently negotiating the RCEP with 16 Asian countries, including 7 TPP member countries: Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei.
