China Pushes for Trade Agreement Negotiations 'Counter to TPP'
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 24, in Beijing, Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesman Shen Danyang said that China will make every effort to cooperate with the negotiating parties of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).

Speaking at a press conference, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that regardless of the future of RCEP and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), China will continue to deepen reforms and increase opening up.
In addition, Beijing will continue to cooperate closely with World Trade Organization (WTO) members, continuously enhance the role of multilateral trade institutions, and create a freer and more favorable environment for global trade.

China is currently negotiating RCEP with 16 Asian countries, including 7 TPP members: Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
