Trung Ruoi confirms he will participate in Tao Quan 2025.
Actor Trung Ruoi responds to the possibility of appearing in Táo Quân 2025.
On the morning of January 1st, in an interview with a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper, actor Trung Ruoi said that he had arranged his schedule to join the Táo Quân 2025 production team.
"I've been training with the cast for the past few days. I'm still not sure about the role I'll be playing in Táo Quân. So, I don't dare say anything beforehand," the actor revealed.
Previously, in behind-the-scenes images revealed by the production team and artists, Trung Ruoi was also present. This year, he and his "partner in crime" Do Duy Nam have had their first rehearsals for Tao Quan.
The 25th Táo Quân (Kitchen Gods) show is expected to bring together a cast of familiar stars such as People's Artist Tự Long, People's Artist Quốc Khánh, Meritorious Artist Chí Trung, and artist Vân Dung...
Trung Ruồi left his mark by participating in many seasons of Táo Quân (Vietnamese New Year's Eve comedy show). Notably, in Táo Quân 2022, Trung Ruồi took on the role of Bắc Đẩu, replacing People's Artist Công Lý.
In fact, since the 2018 Tet Comedy Show, Do Duy Nam and Trung Ruoi have had brief impersonations of Nam Tao and Bac Dau. In the opening segment, Trung Ruoi stole Bac Dau's clothes to try them on.
When questioned about why he stole the official's clothes, Trung Ruoi replied, "Actually, I've long dreamed of becoming the North Star."
The actor once shared that during the first Táo Quân performance, he and Đỗ Duy Nam were often nervous and their minds went blank, as if they had never rehearsed before. The young actors received guidance from People's Artist Quốc Khánh during their performances, and other experienced artists provided support.
