A warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival for children in border areas.

(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 500 children from Mon Son commune (Con Cuong district), a border area, and those sponsored by the Border Guard had a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival celebration in 2023. This activity encouraged and motivated poor students in the border region to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

On the evening of September 27th, in Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district, Nghe An province, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Border Guard Command jointly organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program with the theme: "Borderland - Full Moon Festival Night". Attending the program were: Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Central Military Commission, Commander of the Border Guard...
