While playing in the river, Dau Bao Phuc (born in 2004) shared: "In previous Mid-Autumn Festivals, I made star lanterns to play with, but this year I'm older so I'll give the toys to my younger brother. This is my grandfather's boat. These days, he's been maintaining the fishing boat, so whenever I have free time, I help him make it." Phuc said that because of his family's difficult circumstances, his parents worked as factory workers in Hanoi, and Phuc and his brother have lived with their grandparents since they were young. Perhaps because of the living environment, Phuc and many other children living in Hoa Lam look more mature than their age. |
