Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Đình Trạc and philanthropists donate to people in Nghe An province affected by floods.
On the morning of July 26th, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, along with philanthropists, provided support to Nghe An province to overcome the consequences of the remnants of Typhoon No. 3.
Accompanying them were Ms. Thai Huong - Labor Hero, General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Founder and Chairwoman of the Strategic Council of TH Group; and Mr. Tran Hoai Nam - Director of VietinBank, Nghe An Branch.
Attending the program were provincial leaders including: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Sharing in the difficulties, losses, and heavy damage suffered by the people of Western Nghe An during the unprecedented floods, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, along with corporations and philanthropists, have donated 7 billion VND to Nghe An province.
Specifically, Bac A Commercial Bank - TH Group, through the Fund for Vietnamese Stature, donated 4 billion VND (3 billion VND in cash and 1 billion VND in TH products); VietinBank Nghe An Branch provided 3 billion VND to help people in Western Nghe An overcome the consequences of Typhoon No. 3 and quickly stabilize their lives.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and all the people of the province, especially those affected by the floods, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung expressed his deepest and most sincere gratitude to Comrade Phan Dinh Trac and the members of the delegation, as well as the benefactors, for their meaningful concern and support. This timely and extremely meaningful encouragement, both spiritually and materially, has helped the province overcome the consequences of the floods.
The Provincial Party Secretary stated that in recent days, Nghe An province has suffered heavy and extremely serious damage due to the impact of typhoon No. 3 and its remnants, concentrated in the western communes of the province.

With a proactive, decisive, and urgent approach, Nghe An province has implemented a comprehensive set of emergency response measures; mobilizing the entire political system, armed forces, organizations, and associations to participate in relief efforts and relocating residents, with the aim of ensuring human safety and minimizing property damage.
Currently, the province is focusing on addressing the consequences, with the armed forces providing urgent and active support to the people in cleaning up and stabilizing their lives.

At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province also launched a fundraising campaign, mobilizing units, businesses, organizations, and people inside and outside the province to join hands in supporting flood-affected people. To date, Nghe An province has received support of over 38.5 billion VND.
While the province was struggling to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster, the support of Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, and the delegation, as well as philanthropists, provided a great impetus for the Party Committee, government, and people of Nghe An province to confidently overcome difficulties, gradually recover, stabilize life, and develop socio-economic activities.

Nghe An province is committed to using the allocated funds in a transparent, timely, and appropriate manner, prioritizing support for livelihoods and restoring production for those affected by the floods, so that they can quickly stabilize their lives after the floods subside.
