Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac and philanthropists support Nghe An people affected by floods
On the morning of July 26, comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and philanthropists supported Nghe An province to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3.
Also attending were Ms. Thai Huong - Hero of Labor, General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Founder, Chairman of TH Group's Strategy Council; Mr. Tran Hoai Nam - Director of VietinBank, Nghe An Branch.
Attending the program, the provincial leaders had comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Sharing the difficulties, losses and heavy damage of the people of Western Nghe An during the days of unprecedented floods in history, comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee and corporations and philanthropists have supported 7 billion VND for Nghe An province.
Of which, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank - TH Group through the For Vietnamese Stature Fund donated 4 billion VND (3 billion VND in cash and 1 billion VND in TH products); VietinBank Nghe An Branch supported 3 billion VND to help people in Western Nghe An overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3 and soon stabilize their lives.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and all the people in the province, especially the people affected by floods, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung expressed his deepest and most sincere gratitude to comrade Phan Dinh Trac and comrades in the working delegation, and the benefactors for their meaningful attention and sharing. This is a timely and extremely meaningful encouragement in spirit and material for the province to overcome the consequences of the flood.
The Provincial Party Secretary said that in recent days, Nghe An province has suffered severe and extremely serious damage due to the impact of storm No. 3 and its circulation, concentrated in the western communes of the province.

With a proactive, drastic and urgent spirit, Nghe An province has synchronously deployed emergency response measures; mobilized the entire political system, armed forces, organizations and unions to participate in relief and evacuation of people with the spirit of ensuring human safety and minimizing property damage.
The province is currently focusing on overcoming the consequences, in which the armed forces have urgently and actively supported people in cleaning up and stabilizing their lives.

At the same time, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also launched a fundraising campaign, mobilizing units, businesses, organizations, and people inside and outside the province to join hands to support people in flood-hit areas. To date, Nghe An province has received support of over 38.5 billion VND.
While the province is struggling to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the support of comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission and the working delegation, philanthropists have added great motivation for the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province to confidently overcome difficulties, gradually recover and stabilize life for socio-economic development.

Nghe An province pledges to use the support funds in a public, transparent, timely, and appropriate manner, prioritizing livelihood support and production restoration for affected people to quickly stabilize their lives once the flood passes./.
