Once considered a "hotbed of fire" during the resistance war against the US – a key transportation hub on the strategic North-South supply route – Truông Bồn was subjected to fierce bombing and shelling by American aircraft. Here, 1,240 cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, militia members, and civilians sacrificed their lives, including 13 martyrs from the youth volunteer corps of Squad 2 (Company 317, Nghe An Youth Volunteer Corps). Today, the Truông Bồn Historical Site has been renovated and restored, becoming a significant site for educating future generations about revolutionary traditions. Photo: Huy Thư
