Truong Bon in the hearts of young people
During the war, generations of young people sacrificed their lives and blood to protect the land of Truong Bon. Now that the country is at peace, the young people on this sacred land are following in the footsteps of their predecessors, building prosperous and happy lives, and keeping their love for Truong Bon alive through many meaningful actions.

Nurturing green shoots in the "zone of fire"
It was once described as"coordinates of fire"Having endured the ravages of tens of thousands of bombs and bullets, Route 15A, which once passed through Truong Bon, has now been expanded and become an important national highway, bringing new life to an entire peaceful rural area.
Along that road, the traces of war seem to have faded away, giving way to rows of modern houses, lush and prosperous farms, and bustling business and service areas.

Mr. Dang Van Tu, Secretary of the Party Committee of My Son commune, shared that Truong Bon today is not only remembered for its glorious past, but also as the birthplace of positive changes. This is especially evident in the younger generation, with an increasing number of outstanding individuals successfully establishing themselves and their careers on the very land that once bore so much pain and loss.
A typical example is the farm model of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tu (born in 1992), covering an area of over 15,000 m².2, creating a captivatingly peaceful atmosphere with the vibrant green of over 200 green-skinned pomelo and Dien pomelo trees.
The grapefruit trees grow steadily, bearing sweet fruit every season, a result of meticulous care techniques and Nguyen Hoang Tu's deep understanding of modern farming methods.

In his spacious house, Tư shared that after graduating from high school, he passed the entrance exam for the Veterinary Medicine major at the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture. In 2015, after graduating, he was hired by a corporation specializing in pig farming. Thanks to his work there, he learned a lot of experience in livestock farming, especially applying the specialized knowledge he had learned to practice.
In 2020, having accumulated some necessary capital and experience, he decided to quit his job to wholeheartedly turn his dream of agricultural economics into reality on the very land of Truong Bon where he was born.
Taking advantage of his family's unproductive farmland, he invested all his accumulated capital and borrowed more from relatives and friends to build a system of pig pens for raising fattening pigs and sows, with a total area of 550 square meters.2.
Initially, Nguyen Hoang Tu not only faced the challenge of capital turnover but also had to overcome the constant worry about disease outbreaks. To ensure the safety of the pig herd, most of the family's feed came from poultry raised on the farm. In addition, entry and exit from the pig pens were almost completely restricted.
It was during those challenging times that Nguyen Hoang Tu truly appreciated the value of the knowledge he had acquired and applied all necessary measures to prevent disease outbreaks and disinfect livestock pens, helping to minimize costs and ensure the safety of his animals.
Thanks to this, from just a few dozen initial breeding pigs, the model now has a total herd of over 300 pigs, including sows and fattening pigs. Thus, Nguyen Hoang Tu's dream of a sustainable farm and a closed-loop agricultural economic model on the sun-drenched and windy Truong Bon land has become a reality.
In addition, in his role as the Youth Union Secretary and veterinary officer of the commune, Tu has accompanied and guided many local people and young people in successfully building various economic models.
Young people in My Son are increasingly active in economic activities. Many local youths have boldly sought employment opportunities through overseas labor export programs. After accumulating capital, these young people return to develop their homeland.
In addition, some young people are determined to transform unproductive land areas in their localities to build successful green economic models, such as Dang Cong Binh (born in 1993), with his poultry farming combined with fish pond farming model in Hamlet 3; Nguyen Duc Le (born in 1992) with his integrated farm model of livestock farming and fruit tree cultivation in Hamlet 7…
Mr. Nguyen Van Ngu – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of My Son Commune
It is evident that young people in Truong Bon, regardless of their location or age, always carry within them a love for their homeland and a determination to build a better future for themselves, their community, and society.

Ignite your love for Truong Bon.
Following the stream of people heading back toTruông Bồn National Historical SiteIn the solemn atmosphere, many people paid attention to a special couple: the groom, Nguyen Dinh Vinh (born in 1993), from My Son commune, Do Luong district, and the bride, Hoang Thanh Nga, from Quang Ninh province, currently working in Vinh city. With heartfelt reverence, they offered incense and flowers at the memorial site for 1,240 martyrs and the common grave of the 13 heroic "Steel Squad" Youth Volunteers.
Unable to hide his emotion, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh said that before the wedding, both families had planned to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Truong Bon. Born and raised in Truong Bon, he understands better than anyone the sacrifices and losses of the previous generations who protected the vital Highway 15A. Some martyrs sacrificed their lives with many dreams left unfulfilled, or even right before their wedding day. Therefore, he and his wife always wanted to remember and honor those who fell so that they could enjoy complete happiness today.

Sending his blessings to the young couple, Mr. Phan Trong Loc – Director of the Truong Bon National Historical Site – said that in recent times, many couples have chosen the Truong Bon National Historical Site as a stop on their wedding journey to pay respects. This is meticulously planned by the couples with the utmost reverence, not only showing gratitude to history but also demonstrating a fresh perspective on love and life, where cultural and historical values are connected to present moments of happiness.

According to estimates, the Truông Bồn National Historical Site receives approximately 400,000 visitors annually who come to pay respects and commemorate the heroic martyrs. During peak months, this figure reaches around 100,000 domestic and international tourists, including many young people, including students from within and outside the province.

Not forgetting the past, many young people have chosen Truong Bon as a place to reconnect with their roots. They come to learn about the glorious history of the nation, and their trips often include meaningful activities such as presentations, offering incense, and participating in historical education programs. These activities have ignited and nurtured their love for the country and national pride.
That love, like green shoots sprouting from land that has endured so much hardship, continues to flourish, further enriching the unity and prosperity of our homeland...
