Truong Bon in the hearts of young people
During the war, generations of young people sacrificed their blood and bones to protect Truong Bon land. When the country was at peace, young people on the sacred land followed in the footsteps of previous generations, building a prosperous and happy life, and lighting up their love for Truong Bon with many meaningful activities.

Nurturing green shoots at the "fire coordinates"
Once known as"fire coordinates"Having to bear the brunt of tens of thousands of bombs and bullets, Highway 15A, which once passed through Truong Bon, has now been expanded and become an important national highway, bringing new life to a peaceful countryside.
On that road, the vestiges of war seem to have receded, giving way to rows of spacious houses, lush, prosperous farms and bustling business and service areas.

Mr. Dang Van Tu - Secretary of the Party Committee of My Son commune shared that Truong Bon today is not only remembered for its glorious past, but also as the starting point for positive changes. This is especially evident in the younger generation when there are more and more outstanding individuals who have successfully established themselves and their careers on the very land that once bore so much pain and loss.
A typical example is the farm model of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tu (born in 1992), with an area of more than 15,000 m2, bringing an attractive peaceful look from the green color of more than 200 green-skinned grapefruit and Dien grapefruit trees.
The grapefruit trees grow steadily, bearing sweet fruit every season, the result of Nguyen Hoang Tu's meticulous care techniques and deep understanding of modern farming methods.

In the spacious house, Tu said that after graduating from high school, he passed the Veterinary Medicine major at the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture. In 2015, after graduating, he was accepted to work at a corporation specializing in pig farming. Thanks to the working process here, he learned a lot of experience in animal husbandry, especially the specialized knowledge he learned was almost applied in practice.
In 2020, after accumulating some necessary capital and experience, he decided to quit his job to make his dream of agricultural economy come true on the land of Truong Bon where he was born.
Taking advantage of his family's ineffective farming land, he pooled all his accumulated capital and borrowed from relatives and friends to invest in building a system of pig and sow barns, with a total area of 550m2.2.
At first, Nguyen Hoang Tu not only faced the problem of capital turnover, but also had to overcome the constant worry of disease. To ensure the safety of the pigs, most of the family's food came from poultry raised on the farm. Along with that, entering and leaving the barn was almost completely limited.
It was during these challenging times that Nguyen Hoang Tu realized the value of the knowledge he had learned and applied all measures to prevent epidemics and disinfect barns, helping to reduce costs and ensure the safety of livestock.
Thanks to that, from a few dozen initial pigs, up to now, the model has a total herd of more than 300 pigs including sows, pigs for meat... Thus, Nguyen Hoang Tu's dream of a sustainable farm and a closed agricultural economic model on the sunny and windy land of Truong Bon has become a reality.
Along with that, as Secretary of the Youth Union and Veterinary officer of the commune, Tu has accompanied and guided many local people and young people to successfully build many economic models.
The youth of My Son land are increasingly active in economic activities. Many local youths have boldly sought employment opportunities in the form of labor export. After having accumulated capital, these young people return to build their homeland.
Besides, there are young people who are determined to improve the ineffective land areas of the locality to build successful green economic models such as Dang Cong Binh (born in 1993), with a model of raising poultry combined with digging ponds to raise fish in hamlet 3; Nguyen Duc Le (born in 1992) with a model of a farm combining livestock and growing fruit trees in hamlet 7...
Mr. Nguyen Van Ngu - Deputy Secretary of My Son Commune Youth Union
It can be seen that young people in Truong Bon, no matter where they are or what age they are, always carry within them a love for their homeland and a determination to build a better future for themselves, their community, and society.

Light up love with Truong Bon
Follow the flow of people coming back toTruong Bon National Historical Site, in the sacred atmosphere, many people paid attention to a special couple, the groom Nguyen Dinh Vinh (born in 1993), from My Son commune, Do Luong district and the bride Hoang Thanh Nga, from Quang Ninh province, working in Vinh city. With sincere hearts, they offered incense and flowers at the memorial site of 1,240 martyrs and the common grave of 13 heroic "Steel Squad" Youth Volunteers.
Unable to hide his emotions, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh said that before the wedding, both families had planned to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs in Truong Bon. Born and raised in Truong Bon, he understands better than anyone the sacrifices and losses of his fathers' generation to protect the vital route 15A. There were martyrs who sacrificed their lives when their dreams were still unfulfilled, or even right before their wedding day. Therefore, he and his wife always want to remember and pay tribute to those who have fallen so that they can enjoy complete happiness like today.

Sending his blessings to the young couple, Mr. Phan Trong Loc - Director of Truong Bon National Historical Site said that recently, many couples have chosen Truong Bon National Historical Site as a stop to pay their respects on their wedding journey. This was carefully planned with the utmost respect, not only showing gratitude to history but also showing a new perspective on love and life, where cultural and historical values are connected to present moments of happiness.

It is estimated that each year, Truong Bon National Historical Site welcomes about 400,000 visitors to visit, offer incense, and commemorate the heroic martyrs. During the peak month alone, there are about 100,000 domestic and foreign visitors, including many young people who are students in and outside the province.

Not forgetting the past, many young people have chosen Truong Bon as a place to return to their roots. They come to learn about the heroic history of the nation and their trips often include meaningful activities such as presentations, incense offerings and participation in historical learning programs. These activities have kindled and nurtured their love for the country and national pride.
That love, like green shoots growing from the land that has gone through many hardships, continues to flourish, adding to the solidarity and prosperity of the homeland...
