Vietnam-Korea Vocational College inaugurates the new academic year.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 6th, the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology held its opening ceremony for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Attending the event were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Cao Thi Hien – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Viet Thanh – Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; representatives of leaders from provincial departments and agencies; and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

In the 2015-2016 academic year, the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology successfully completed its assigned tasks. Most graduates were referred to jobs in industrial parks, export processing zones, and economic corporations such as Samsung, Hong Hai, Lilama, etc.; they were also advised and introduced to overseas employment opportunities in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, with stable jobs and income.
In the 2016-2017 academic year, the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology continued to focus all resources on achieving the six criteria for a high-quality vocational school. This included prioritizing the improvement of the quality of the teaching staff, the vocational skills of students, and the innovation of teaching methods, teaching approaches, and management practices.

In addition, we will strengthen cooperation plans with businesses regarding training and recruitment, as well as sending students to work and study abroad. We will invest in facilities and implement theoretical and practical classrooms according to regional and international standards…
Also on October 6th, the Vietnam-Korea Food and Culture Festival took place on campus to celebrate the culinary cultural values of both countries and commemorate the 573rd anniversary of the creation of the Korean alphabet. This is an annual event of the school, providing an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Korea.

The 2015 Vietnam-Korea Cultural and Food Festival included activities such as: cultural performances, Vovinam martial arts demonstrations, traditional musical instruments, and folk games from both countries; and the introduction of Vietnamese and Korean dishes prepared by staff, teachers, employees, and students.
