ONE OF THE FIRST TWO PROVINCIAL-LEVEL POLITICAL SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTRY TO ACHIEVE STANDARD 1.

Implementing Project No. 17, dated August 18, 2022, issued by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building the Nghe An Provincial Political School to meet standards," with the determination and high concentration of the entire political system of Nghe An province, the School has now achieved 100% of the standard level 1 criteria, according to Regulation No. 11-QĐ/TW dated May 19, 2021, of the Secretariat on standard political schools, including 8 out of 55 criteria exceeding the standard, namely: the staff and officials and scientific research activities.

Receiving the Certificate of Recognition and the awarding of the emblem recognizing the Nghe An Provincial Political School as meeting Level 1 standards is a noble acknowledgment bestowed upon the School by the Party.

To date, the school is honored to be one of the first two schools in the country to receive the Level 1 accreditation certificate.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - emphasized that the ceremony to announce and receive the title of Level 1 Standard for the Nghe An Provincial Political School is an important event with many meanings not only for the Nghe An Provincial Political School and the provincial political system, but also for the system of political schools nationwide.

Emphasizing the significance and importance of implementing Regulation No. 11-QD/TW on standard political schools of the Central Party Secretariat, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics noted that, for the Nghe An Provincial Political School, after today's success, it should not stop at this result but should continue to strive to build the school to meet Level 2 standards as soon as possible, and must continue to be among the leading schools in achieving Level 2 standards nationwide.

Accordingly, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that, in the coming time, the School should inherit and build upon the achievements already made, becoming a new driving force for development; encouraging the school's staff and lecturers to continue striving and improving in all aspects to achieve even better results. In particular, it is necessary to translate the recognized criteria into practical action, deeply ingrained in the school's teaching and learning environment, because achieving the standard is difficult, but maintaining it is even more challenging.

To date, the Nghe An Provincial Political School has not only met Level 1 standards, but has also approached Level 2 standards in several areas, which is a significant advantage for the school. Therefore, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang believes that the school can achieve Level 2 standards ahead of the schedule set in the Project for 2028.

To achieve this, the school needs to focus on preparing in all aspects to meet Level 2 standards starting now. This includes paying particular attention to key areas and bottlenecks in team building, especially the teaching staff, heads of departments, and leaders; these should be considered exemplary models in standardization.

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics also requested the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, with confidence in the outstanding achievements of the Provincial Political School in the past period, to continue to direct, support, and provide all necessary conditions for the School to achieve its goal of becoming a Level 2 standard political school as soon as possible.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his confidence that, together with the Nghe An Political School, political schools nationwide will strive, make greater efforts, and be more determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, developing strongly to soon achieve the goal of becoming a standard political school, in order to better fulfill the mission of carrying out the "key of keys" work of the Party, specifically the work of training and fostering to build a team of cadres who not only have good qualities but also have the capacity and prestige to shoulder the responsibilities and tasks entrusted by the Party, the State, and the People; worthy of the position of a Party school in the locality.

ACHIEVE SUSTAINABILITY LEVEL 2 QUICKLY

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Thai Thanh Quy, acknowledged, praised, and warmly congratulated the important achievements and contributions that generations of cadres, teachers, and students of the School have strived to achieve over the past time.

To achieve the goal of making Nghe An a relatively prosperous province in the northern region by 2025 and a relatively prosperous province nationwide by 2030, the most important and decisive factor is to build and train a team of officials with sufficient qualities, capabilities, and prestige to match the tasks at hand.

Accordingly, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the Provincial Political School plays an extremely important role, requiring many efforts and new innovations in fulfilling its responsibility of training and developing cadres, summarizing practical experiences, and advising on and developing policies and development orientations for the province.

The Provincial Party Committee requests that Party committees, government agencies at all levels in the province, and the Provincial Political School seriously and comprehensively absorb the directives of the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy and the Provincial Party Secretary, while also emphasizing several additional tasks.

First and foremost, the Provincial Political School needs to continue adhering to the regulations, plans, and guidelines of the Central Government regarding standardized political schools; review all tasks and projects that have been and are being implemented; and develop specific and scientific directions and roadmaps for implementation to ensure the school's early completion and sustainable achievement of Level 2 standards.

In conjunction with that, we must continue to focus on building a team of faculty and staff at the school who possess strong political convictions, moral character, intellect, dedication, and a model teaching style, along with rich life experience, to shoulder the important responsibility of carrying out the Party's "fundamental work" and the task of "training" cadres;...

At the same time, there should be a stronger focus on innovating the content, programs, and methods of training and developing cadres, in the direction of linking theory with practice, practical skills, and equipping them with scientific thinking and working methods to effectively solve the problems arising in the actual work in the province.

Strictly enforce school discipline and order; cultivate political and moral qualities, and practice exemplary conduct and lifestyle, humility, simplicity, and closeness to the people for cadres and students.

The school also needs to continue to focus on effectively carrying out scientific research and summarizing practical experiences, making important contributions to improving the quality of training and education, and participating in building mechanisms and policies to serve socio-economic development and the construction of the political system in the locality in a way that ensures feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness.

This is closely linked to the importance of building the Party school's culture; preserving and promoting the traditions and cultural identity of the Party school. It also involves continuing to modernize facilities and equipment to better serve the school's teaching, learning, and scientific research activities; and innovating management methods towards a modern, integrated, and developmental direction.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested that Party committees, government agencies, departments, and localities throughout the province proactively and actively coordinate with the Provincial Political School in training, education, scientific research, and practical experience summation.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy respectfully expressed his deep gratitude to the ministries, departments, central agencies, the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, and other cities and provinces for their continued attention, support, and assistance to Nghe An province throughout its development journey, including the construction of the Provincial Political School to meet standards and the training and development of the province's cadres; and hoped to continue receiving even more attention and support in the future.
