Vinh Medical University: Open Science and Technology Conference 2024
On the afternoon of November 9, Vinh Medical University organized the 2024 Open Science and Technology Conference.
Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Ngo Quang - Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Training, Ministry of Health.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
Special,Resolution No. 39- Resolution/TW dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo on the construction and development of Nghe An province to 2030 with a vision to 2045 clearly stated that one of the 9 important tasks to achieve the goal by 2030 for Nghe An to become the Center of the North Central region is to focus on developing education and training, science and technology, health care, and developing high-quality human resources. Specifically, "developing higher education associated with promoting scientific research and innovation; building scientific and technological research centers in universities at the regional level".
Realizing the mission, Vinh Medical University has identified the importance of scientific research activities and scientific and technological tasks that each staff and lecturer needs to thoroughly grasp in order to gradually improve the quality of training, making an important contribution to the development of high-quality medical human resources for the country.
In recent years, research activities atVinh Medical Universitybe promoted in both quantity and depth, with special attention paid to developing scientific research among students and lecturers of the school.
The school has many policies and mechanisms to promote scientific research activities and create conditions for students and young staff to conduct scientific research; staff, lecturers and students have won many awards and have produced quality scientific research products.
Vinh Medical University organizes the 2024 Open Science and Technology Conference to create conditions for staff, lecturers, researchers, scientists across the country, and medical students to expand their knowledge, update new research, discoveries, and new methods with high scientific value and practical application in their profession.
The topics and techniques evaluated at the conference will be the basis for doctors, physicians, and scientists to develop and apply them in practice, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination, treatment, and health care for the people.
The conference was organized into 6 thematic sessions on Internal Medicine - Pediatrics, Surgery - Obstetrics, the specialties of Oncology, Pharmacy, Public Health, Laboratory Testing, Nursing. With the participation of 75 quality scientific research works from medical schools, institutes, academies, research centers; from physicians, nurses at hospitals, medical facilities nationwide; domestic and international scientists with the participation of the scientific council of professors, associate professors, doctors, and prestigious experts in the fields of health.
