Nghe An University of Economics inaugurates the new academic year.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 15th, Nghe An University of Economics held its opening ceremony for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Xuan Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Le Minh Thong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Nghe An University of Economics is a higher education institution under the direct management of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, with the function of training human resources in economics, agriculture and forestry for Nghe An province and other provinces in the North Central region and the whole country.
The university currently has over 3000 students in 11 majors, including leading majors such as: Finance - Taxation; Accounting - Auditing, Business Administration, Banking - Insurance, Economic Management, Agricultural Economics, Forestry, Aquaculture, Land Management... In the new academic year 2016 - 2017, the university welcomed more than 1,000 new students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong requested that every official, lecturer, and student of Nghe An University of Economics be determined to complete the academic year's tasks, contributing to further affirming the role of Nghe An University as a prestigious university training center in the fields of economics and engineering for the province, the North Central region, and the whole country.
