Nghe An University of Economics opens new school year
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 15, Nghe An University of Economics held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2016-2017.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Minh Thong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Nghe An University of Economics is a higher education institution under the People's Committee of Nghe An province, with the function of training human resources in economics, agriculture and forestry for Nghe An province and the provinces in the North Central region and the whole country.
The school currently has more than 3,000 students in 11 majors, including key majors such as: Finance - Tax; Accounting - Auditing, Business Administration, Banking - Insurance, Economic Management, Agricultural Economics, Forestry, Aquaculture, Land Management... In the new school year 2016 - 2017, the school welcomed more than 1,000 new students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong requested that each staff, lecturer and student of Nghe An University of Economics must be determined to complete the tasks of the school year, contributing to continuing to affirm the role of a prestigious university training center in the fields of economics and technology of the province, the North Central region and the whole country.
