Do Luong High School celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Director of the Department of Education and Training, representatives of the leadership of Do Luong district, Do Luong 3 High School, and many generations of students of the school.

Do Luong 3 High School was established in 1978, initially with only 4 ninth-grade classes (transferred from Do Luong 1 High School). The school also enrolled 5 eighth-grade classes consisting of children from 11 communes in the district (at that time, high schools had three grades: 8, 9, and 10 - a 10-year general education system).

In its early days, the school's teachers and students taught and learned in extremely difficult conditions, with inadequate facilities.

Over 40 years of construction and development, with the determination, effort, and dedication of generations of teachers, the school has achieved many remarkable results. The overall quality and the quality of the school's specialized programs have been continuously improved.

Under the roof of this school, tens of thousands of students have been trained and graduated, successfully entering universities; some have achieved success and distinction, becoming Associate Professors, Doctors, Senior Officers, and officials at the central, provincial, and district levels....

Over the past five years, the school has mobilized nearly 10 billion VND, along with budget and social contributions, to invest in and upgrade 41 classrooms, as well as subject rooms, computer labs, and English language labs, all equipped with standard-compliant equipment.

Along with focusing on training and improving the quality of the teaching staff, the school strives to create a good learning and training environment for students in the area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Director of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training - congratulated the generations of teachers and students of Do Luong 3 High School for their significant contributions to the cause of education over the past nearly 40 years. She also expressed her hope that the school's teachers would continue to build upon their achievements, effectively implement the educational reform program, improve the quality of teaching and learning, and strive to become a National Standard School in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Recognizing the significant contributions of the school to the cause of education and training, on this occasion, Do Luong 3 High School was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training and a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee; outstanding teachers also received numerous certificates of merit and awards from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Provincial People's Committee.
