Authorities are pursuing a group that faked traffic accidents to steal vehicles.

The group of assailants pretended to have a car accident, forced Mr. H.'s vehicle to the side of the road, and then beat him mercilessly. When the victim panicked and abandoned his vehicle to run away, they stole the motorbike and escaped.

On August 15th, the Thu Duc District Police in Ho Chi Minh City announced they are urgently pursuing three accomplices of Nguyen Tien Duc (20 years old, from Ha Tinh province) to investigate and prosecute them for robbery.

Earlier, on the evening of August 11th, Duc and three accomplices spotted NVH riding his motorbike on Ngo Chi Quoc Street, Binh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc District. They then pretended to have a collision, forced H.'s motorbike to the side of the road, and brutally beat him.

Nguyen Tien Duc was arrested by the police for investigation into the theft of a motorbike.

When the victim panicked and abandoned his motorbike to run away, the thieves stole it and escaped. While on patrol, the Binh Chieu Ward Police discovered the incident and immediately pursued and apprehended Duc.

Currently, the District 12 Police are investigating and pursuing a gang of robbers who committed audacious carjackings in the area by faking traffic accidents and then assaulting their victims.

Specifically, on the evening of August 6th, Mr. NMT (temporarily residing in District 12) was riding his Sirius motorbike on Le Van Khuong Street when a young man on a motorbike suddenly approached him and intentionally scraped the back of his motorbike, causing both of them to fall onto the road.

Immediately, three other young men ran up and punched Mr. T. Before Mr. T. could react, all four of them stole his Sirius motorbike and sped away.
