Authorities are pursuing a prisoner who escaped from a prison in Nghe An on the afternoon of August 18th.
Prison No. 6 has issued an arrest warrant for Tran Ngoc Hoa, who previously served a 12-year sentence for intentional infliction of injury and destruction of property, after he escaped from custody on the afternoon of August 18.
On August 18, 2025, the Warden of Prison No. 6 (under the Department of Police for Prison Management, Compulsory Education Facilities, and Juvenile Detention Centers – Department C10, Ministry of Public Security) issued Wanted Notice No. 01/QDTN – TG No. 6 against prisoner Tran Ngoc Hoa, born in 1989, from Dien Tho commune, Dien Chau district (now Tan Chau commune, Nghe An province).
Tran Ngoc Hoa is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence for the crimes of intentionally causing injury and destroying property. The individual had served 6 years at Sub-camp No. 1, Prison No. 6 (located in Hanh Lam commune, Nghe An province) before escaping from custody at approximately 4-5 PM on the same day.

Identifying information: Tran Ngoc Hoa is approximately 1.60m tall, has a crew cut, a square face, a concave nose, square earlobes, and a concave scar 1cm below the right eyebrow.
The arrest warrant states: Any person has the right to apprehend and immediately bring Tran Ngoc Hoa to the nearest police station, prosecutor's office, or People's Committee. Simultaneously, immediately notify Prison No. 6 (Hanh Lam commune, Nghe An province), telephone number:0948.546.076.
