After a 10km chase, a patrol team from Chanh Nghia Ward Police Station, Thu Dau Mot City (Binh Duong Province) arrested suspect Dong Quoc Hung (19 years old, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) for the crime of robbery.

At around 10:00 AM on October 24th, Hung rode his motorbike around various streets in the area, searching for "prey" to rob.
Upon reaching CMT8 Street, in Ward 5, Chanh Nghia Commune, the suspect noticed that Ms. Nguyen Vuong Thu Dung (46 years old) was wearing an 18K gold necklace (4 taels of gold) around her neck.
Hung rode his bicycle past the victim, snatched her necklace, and quickly sped away. Hearing his wife's shouts, Ms. Dung's husband chased after Hung on his motorbike. At the same time, a patrol team from Chanh Nghia Ward Police was passing through the area and quickly joined the pursuit.
Throughout the chase, Hung sped recklessly and fiercely resisted arrest, kicking the motorcycles of the pursuing officers. However, upon reaching Hung Dinh ward, Thuan An town (Binh Duong province), the suspect was apprehended by the police along with the evidence. He was then handed over to the Thu Dau Mot City Police for investigation according to their jurisdiction.
