Searching for a couple who pretended to buy gold and then robbed it
After entering a gold shop pretending to buy gold, taking advantage of the shop owner not paying attention, a woman took 5 taels of gold and ran out with a young man on a motorbike.
On the morning of September 29, information from the Ea H'Leo District Police, Dak Lak Province said that the unit is coordinating with related units to search for a couple who committed a robbery at a gold shop in the area.
Previously, at around 6:15 p.m. on September 28, a young man driving a motorbike without a license plate carrying a woman arrived in front of the T.D. gold shop in Ea Drang town, Ea H'Leo district. Here, the young man sat on the motorbike waiting outside, while the woman went inside the gold shop to buy gold.
After the gold shop owner gave her 5 taels of 9999 gold, the female subject pretended to pick it up and look at it. Taking advantage of the moment when the gold shop owner was not paying attention, the female subject took the gold and ran to the motorbike where the man was waiting, and together they escaped.
Through investigation, Ea H'Leo District Police have collected characteristics of the two subjects involved in the robbery. Specifically, the female subject is large and fat, wearing a black helmet, gray mask, purple T-shirt, black pants with orange border, and yellow flip-flops. The male subject is wearing a white helmet, gray mask, black pants and long-sleeved shirt, driving a Honda motorbike, type Ware Blade, red and black, model 2023 or 2024, with no license plate.
