Authorities are searching for a couple who pretended to buy gold before robbing the victim.
After entering a gold shop pretending to inquire about buying gold, a woman took advantage of the shop owner's inattention, grabbed 5 taels of gold, and ran out with a young man on a motorbike and fled.
On the morning of September 29th, information from the Ea H'Leo District Police, Dak Lak province, indicated that they are coordinating with relevant units to search for a man and a woman who committed a robbery at a gold shop in the area.
Earlier, at around 6:15 PM on September 28th, a young man riding a motorcycle without a license plate, carrying a woman, arrived in front of the T.D. gold shop in Ea Drang town, Ea H'Leo district. The young man waited on the motorcycle outside while the woman went inside the shop to inquire about buying gold.
After being given 5 taels of 9999 gold by the gold shop owner, the woman pretended to examine it. Taking advantage of the shop owner's inattention, she quickly grabbed the gold and ran to a waiting motorbike driven by a man, and they both escaped.
Through investigation, the Ea H'Leo District Police have gathered details of two suspects involved in the robbery. Specifically, the female suspect is of a large build, wearing a black helmet, a gray face mask, a purple jacket, black pants with orange trim, and yellow flip-flops. The male suspect is wearing a white helmet, a gray face mask, black pants and a long-sleeved shirt, and was riding a red and black Honda Ware Blade motorcycle, model year 2023 or 2024, without a license plate.
