After initial investigation, the woman was taken to Tan Phu district. The city is currently tracing, verifying and searching for this woman.
HCDC also said that the city has just discovered 5 cases of illegal entry from China in Thu Duc district. The first test results of all 5 people were negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
HCDC also calls on illegal immigrants for public health to boldly declare their health status so they can be monitored and tested. Failure to declare their health status and not quarantine as prescribed can pose a huge risk to the community if they are unfortunately infected with Covid-19.
