Media coverage of 'Population: Continuing Journeys'
"Population: Continuing Journeys" is the theme of the population communication exchange night, held in response to the National Action Month on Population and to celebrate Vietnam Population Day 2024 (December 26, 1961 - December 26, 2024).
On the evening of December 3rd, in Thanh Chuong district, the Nghe An Provincial Population and Family Planning Department organized a population communication exchange event with the participation of population workers from 20 districts, cities, and towns.
Also present were Ms. Hoang Thi Thom - Deputy Director of the Population Department - Ministry of Health and other members of the delegation.
Representing Nghe An province were comrades Vo Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Hoang Dinh Tung - Head of the Population and Family Planning Sub-Department; representatives from the Department of Health; and representatives from the Thanh Chuong district government.
Population communication programThis is an annual, ongoing activity that has a positive impact on population workers and local people.
This also serves as a bridge connecting population workers at all levels, allowing them to meet, interact, learn from each other, exchange experiences, and encourage each other to perform their assigned tasks well.
At the program, the leaders of the Population Department acknowledged and thanked the contributions of the population officials at all levels, who tirelessly work every day "going from street to street, knocking on every door, and identifying every individual" for the happiness of each family and the sustainable development of society.

In addition, they also shared their understanding of the difficulties and hardships faced by those working in population affairs at the grassroots level, especially at the present time, when population work is undergoing many changes and transformations in terms of organizational structure and terminology.
Therefore, we hope that population officials and collaborators will continue to make even greater efforts to successfully complete the assigned tasks in population and development work.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Population Department also urged all levels, sectors, localities, units; each family and all citizens to actively respond to the National Action Month on Population in 2024 with practical actions for the prosperous and happy lives of each family, and for the rapid and sustainable development of the province.
