German media: "Poland threatens Russia to divide Europe"
An article in the German newspaper Neues Deutschland accused Poland of dividing Europe.
Accordingly, Warsaw's behavior within NATO aimed at "threatening" Russia has damaged the unity of the European community.
The article also argues that Poland plays the role of a “model member” of NATO: for several years, the government has tried to maintain military spending at 2% of GDP, and all parties in the country support increasing this budget item.

At the same time, the author notes that NATO's plans to further increase military spending, deploy a US military base in Poland and admit new members only increase the level of tension in Europe and divide the continent into several camps.
Previously, Warsaw proposed that the United States station an American armored division in Poland on a permanent basis, at Poland's own expense. This proposal was made outside the bilateral NATO framework.
