The National Meteorological Center warns that on the evening and night of August 29th, Hanoi and many areas across the country will experience strong thunderstorms, with the risk of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, satellite imagery and weather radar over the past 3 hours have recorded convective clouds developing in the Bac Ninh area and moving towards downtown Hanoi.
Over the next 30 minutes to 3 hours, many wards such as Phuc Loi, Long Bien, Hong Ha, Linh Nam, Vinh Hung, Vinh Tuy, Hai Ba Trung, Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Cua Nam, Kim Lien… may experience showers and thunderstorms. The thunderstorm area may extend to other communes and wards. During the thunderstorm, people should be aware of the risk of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
