Champions League quarter-finals: Real vs Bayern, Barca vs Juve
Defending champions Real Madrid are reunited with former coach Carlo Ancelotti, while Barcelona face Juventus. Leicester face Atletico Madrid, while Borussia Dortmund take on AS Monaco.
Overall, the draw for the quarter-finals of this year's Champions League has produced a fairly evenly matched set of matches. While Leicester have avoided some tough opponents and are hoping to continue their fairytale run in their first season in the world's most prestigious club competition, Dortmund and Monaco are also two teams with similar strengths.
The first legs take place on April 11 and 12, the return legs are April 18 and 19.

Ancelotti and Zidane together led Real to their 10th Champions League title. |
The highlight of the quarter-finals will certainly be the reunion between Real and Bayern, between the reigning champion and the former champion, between Carlo Ancelotti and his old colleague Zinedine Zidane. Ancelotti led Real from 2013 to 2015, helping the Spanish team win La Decima, the 10th Champions League title in the 2013-2014 season. At that time, Zidane was an assistant coach. Real fired Ancelotti in May 2015. This decision at that time received a lot of criticism from experts, players, coaches and the press.
On their way to winning the 2014 Champions League, Real handed Bayern a crushing 4-0 defeat in the second leg of the semi-final thanks to a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo. That was the last time the two teams met in a competitive match. Real and Bayern have met 10 times in the Champions League knockout stages, with five wins each.
Meanwhile, Barca and Juventus will reprise the 2014-15 Champions League final, with the Catalans beating their Italian rivals to claim their fifth title. The two clubs have met seven times in the C1/Champions League, with Barca winning three, Juventus winning two and the other two games ending in draws. The tie will also see defender Dani Alves face his former club Barca.

Leicester and Atletico have met twice. The first was in the first round of the 1961-62 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, the precursor to the Europa League. Atletico drew 1-1 away and won 2-0 at home. The second was in the first round of the 1997-98 UEFA Cup (also the precursor to the Europa League), with Atletico winning both legs by the same scoreline of 2-1.
Dortmund and Monaco have never met before. Monaco were runners-up in the 2003-04 Champions League, while Dortmund won the title in 1996-97 and were runners-up in 2012-13. Dortmund have had a good run in the Champions League in recent seasons, while for Monaco, reaching the quarter-finals this year would be a success.
However, the Ligue 1 representatives are proving to be a formidable unknown after coming from behind to eliminate Man City in the round of 16. At the moment, Monaco are flying high with a good attack and they are surpassing PSG to lead Ligue 1.
