Tu Long posts a photo of Duc Phuc and talks about the two shows where the two brothers compete.
Despite participating in a program where he was considered a "rival," Duc Phuc has a close relationship with People's Artist Tu Long.

On his personal page, People's Artist Tu Long posted a photo of himself with Duc Phuc and a group of comedians from the same generation, including Thu Huong, Minh Hang, Xuan Bac, and Cong Ly.
The group of artists, dressed in school uniforms, posed for photos in the schoolyard, happily putting their arms around each other. It is known that this image was taken behind the scenes of the music video for Duc Phuc's song "Nguoi Oi Nguoi O Dung Ve" (Oh My Love, Don't Leave).
On the occasion of the September 5th school opening day, this cheerful and energetic music video was re-watched by viewers.
When inviting veteran artists to star in his music video, Duc Phuc once shared: "I dreamed of starring in a music video with my childhood idols, and I was lucky enough to get their agreement. Initially, I thought they would be serious and strict. However, they livened up the set, laughing and talking constantly, and brought a positive and cheerful atmosphere."
Currently, Duc Phuc is participating in "Anh trai say hi" (Brother Says Hi), while People's Artist Tu Long is appearing in "Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai" (Brother Overcomes a Thousand Thorns).
However, the two programs were pushed into a tense confrontation due to excessive criticism and debate from fans on both sides.
From comparisons and arguments, a segment of the audience attacked and criticized the artists participating in these two programs. The controversy took a negative and demeaning turn.
Even veteran figures like People's Artist Tu Long, singer Bang Kieu, and singer Tuan Hung are not immune to this "storm."
People's Artist Tu Long himself had to speak up: "If we forget about good values, and sometimes even disregard moral standards, just because of our idols, is it really worth it?"

Participating in a program with an open mind and a desire to reinvent himself, People's Artist Tu Long faced comments calling him "an old man," criticizing the show for being boring and inferior to the Gen Z singers in "Brother Says Hi."
The debates are becoming increasingly heated, even though, in reality, the artists from the two shows are close friends, and sometimes artists from one show are close colleagues of artists competing in the other.
People's Artist Tu Long himself has collaborated with Duc Phuc, or Isaac, Jun Pham, and ST were once in the same music group, and MC Tran Thanh is close friends with a whole host of talented artists like Truong The Vinh, Lien Binh Phat, Duy Khanh...
"Brothers Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles" features familiar names to Vietnamese audiences, delivering a transformation as the talented group practices dancing and performing in groups like Kpop idols. Their enthusiasm and inspiring spirit are undeniable.
The young singers of "Brother Says Hi" have made a huge leap forward. Some have risen to fame and, with the advantage of age and fandom culture, they have gained widespread popularity on digital platforms, with YouTube views becoming a race to the top.
If we compare the two shows, the artists only "intersect" at one point: their passion for music. Otherwise, they differ in their starting points and career paths.
Therefore, comparing artists from different generations, styles, and fields is inappropriate.
Amidst endless controversies and rivalries over achievements, the efforts of artists and the values behind elaborate stage productions are rarely mentioned. Many artists have said that art and music are a forest of blooming flowers. Artist Tu Long believes that "art is about beautifying life, and artists are merely the ones who carry out that beautification."
