From Thai Nguyen to Nghe An, illegal gold mining and blasting

(Baonghean.vn)- On January 18-19, 2016, Huu Khuong Commune Police inspected and raided illegal gold miners in Khe Vai hill area, Xan village, Huu Khuong commune, Tuong Duong district. This is one of the hot spots where gold miners often operate.

The police team of Huu Khuong commune and the 3 arrested subjects (3 people standing in the middle) along with all the evidence collected at the scene.

Based on information from the people, at 9:30 p.m. on January 19, the working team of Huu Khuong Commune Police ambushed and arrested three subjects: Nguyen The Vinh (1979), hometown Do Luong district, Nghe An province, and Dang Phuc Tai (1994), Trieu Phuc Luu (1982), both residing in Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province, for using explosives to illegally mine gold. The total amount of evidence collected included 17.6 kg of industrial explosives (in the form of bars), 34 meters of slow-burning wire (black) and 75 industrial detonators.

Due to the complex terrain, high mountains, narrow roads, and steep slopes, it was not until 2:45 a.m. on January 20 that Huu Khuong Commune Police escorted the subjects to the Commune People's Committee, completed the documents, and handed them over to the District Police for handling according to their authority.

The People's Committee of Huu Khuong commune promptly congratulated and rewarded the soldiers participating in the working team.
