Consultations are available through two methods: direct consultation via telephone number 0437759339 (press number 1) and online consultation on the website csaga.org.vn. Consultation hours are from 8 AM to 9 PM, Monday to Saturday (closed on Sundays and public holidays).
The counseling sessions will provide knowledge about lesbianism and their rights, as well as issues related to lesbians such as: anxieties about emotions and sexual orientation, coming out as gay, dealing with discrimination and violence from family, relatives, society, and the workplace. Counselors will also provide relevant support resources and connect clients to experts.
In addition to counseling on lesbian issues, CSAGA also provides online psychological counseling for students aged 12-18 and their parents and teachers on the website ask14.vn. Counseling topics include: school violence and bullying, sexual harassment and abuse, discrimination and respect for differences, and relationships between parents, teachers, and children.
Ms. Nguyen Van Anh, Director of the CSAGA Center, stated: “Through many years of work, we have recognized the great need for lesbian women and children who have experienced violence to regain peace, find strength, and seek support from counselors and social organizations to address their personal issues. Based on this, CSAGA has established two free counseling services for these two groups.”
CSAGA is a non-governmental, non-profit organization working to promote and protect the rights of women and children affected by violence and discrimination.
