The VinFuture Science and Technology Week 2025 will officially take place from December 2nd to 6th, 2025 in Hanoi. According to the organizers, with the theme "Together We Rise – Together We Prosper," the series of events continues its mission of connecting knowledge, inspiring a desire to serve, and enhancing Vietnam's position as a global center of science and innovation.
This year's event comprises seven main activities, focusing on lectures, scientific seminars, dialogues, exhibitions, and a prestigious awards ceremony.
The highlight of the VinFuture 2025 Awards Ceremony.
The most anticipated event is the VinFuture 2025 Awards Ceremony, which will take place on the evening of December 5th, 2025 at the Ho Guom Theater in Hanoi. The event will be broadcast live on VTV1 of Vietnam Television. This year, the awards will honor scientific works that contribute to the "Together We Grow - Together We Prosper" theme for humanity.
A series of scientific seminars bringing together leading experts.
The week kicked off on the morning of December 2nd, 2025 with the program "Inspirational Speech: Breakthrough Technologies of the Future," where leading experts shared their vision of the technology trends shaping the world.
Following this is the series of seminars "Science for Life," taking place from December 2nd to 4th, 2025. Five in-depth discussion sessions will revolve around pressing topics such as: "AI for Humanity – AI Ethics and Safety in the New Era," "Advances in Disease Detection and Treatment," "Innovations in Agriculture and Food," "Robotics and Intelligent Automation," and "Science and Innovation for a Sustainable Future."
The event will feature prominent figures such as Professor Geoffrey Hinton, Professor Yoshua Bengio (Winner of the VinFuture 2024 Main Prize), and Dr. Vinton Cerf (Winner of the VinFuture 2022 Main Prize), who will deliver insightful messages about the role of science.
Spreading knowledge to the community.
Within the framework of the week, the "VinFuture Future Discovery Dialogue Series" was expanded to include 10 institutes and universities nationwide, creating opportunities for tens of thousands of students, lecturers, and researchers to meet world-class scientists in person.
Immediately following the awards ceremony, on December 6th at VinUni University, the event "Greeting the Future: Networking with VinFuture 2025 Award Winners" will take place. Here, the award winners will share their knowledge, experiences, and inspire the Vietnamese scientific community and the public. On the same day, VinUni will also host the "Leadership Forum: Conference on Innovation in Higher Education" to discuss the future of higher education.
When science intersects art
A special highlight of the week is the exhibition “The Foliage V – The Touch of Science”. This is the first collaboration between the VinFuture Foundation and the Vincom Contemporary Art Center (VCCA). The exhibition celebrates scientific breakthroughs through artwork and runs from December 2nd, 2025 to February 28th, 2026, bringing science closer to the public through a multi-sensory experience.
The mark of 5 seasons of VinFuture
By 2025, over five seasons, VinFuture has awarded a total of 20 prizes to 48 scientists from five continents. The winning works have made significant contributions to the development of humanity. Many scientists, after receiving the VinFuture award, have gone on to be honored with other prestigious awards such as the Nobel Prize, affirming the vision of the award. The VinFuture Science and Technology Week has become a symbol of global scientific cooperation, with Vietnam as a destination for knowledge and a source of inspiration for serving humanity.
