Vietnam - Laos joint patrol, checking border lines and national landmarks
(Baonghean.vn) - This patrol aims to count and check all border signs and national border markers.
On May 23-25, Tri Le Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with local militia to conduct a comprehensive patrol along the entire border line under the unit's responsibility, with a length of 18.530 km.
The unit conducted bilateral patrols with the border protection force of Laos, the border section from marker 373 to 374, which is the border section with the most rugged and difficult terrain along the entire route.

Through patrolling the border marker system (8 markers from 373 - 380), the border signs are guaranteed to remain intact, and people on both sides of the border strictly comply with the Agreement and Border Management Regulations between Vietnam and Laos.
