(Baonghean.vn) - From April 27th to 28th, My Ly Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, conducted a comprehensive patrol of the border section from the area adjacent to border marker No. 389 to border marker No. 397 on the Vietnam-Laos border.

This is an important activity aimed at promptly detecting violations of border regulations, resolving incidents occurring along the border, and protecting the security and safety of the Vietnam-Laos border in the area under the unit's responsibility.

At the same time, activities aimed at maintaining political security stability and social order in border areas during the holidays commemorating the 49th anniversary of the complete liberation of Southern Vietnam and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024); and the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2024)...

The patrol force overcame all difficulties caused by hot weather conditions and extremely rugged terrain to inspect border markers and check the safety status of the Vietnam-Laos national border marker system from marker number 389 to marker number 397, with a length of 48.468 km.

Through comprehensive patrols of the border system, boundary markers were ensured to remain intact and secure; the patrol process ensured absolute safety for personnel, weapons, and equipment; and political security and social order in the border area were maintained.
