Bilateral border patrol to protect the New Year 2025
On December 30, My Ly Border Post, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard and Border Guard Company 217 - Military Command of Hua Phan Province (Laos) organized a bilateral patrol from marker 395 to marker 396 of the Vietnam - Laos border.
Overcoming the cold and rainy weather conditions and difficult terrain, the patrol team inspected the border signs and the border marker system. As a result, the border signs were not moved, and the border markers were kept intact and safe.

This is an important activity to promptly detect violations of border regulations, resolve incidents occurring on the border, protect security and safety of the common border. At the same time, maintain political security, order and social safety in the areas on both sides of the border during the 2025 New Year.

On this occasion, My Ly Border Guard Station coordinated with the Party Committee and authorities of My Ly commune, Ky Son district to exchange information related to border management and protection, and presented gifts to Border Guard Company 217.
My Ly Border Guard Station also awarded 5 million VND to support Xong Ba Cong in Huoi Pa village, Muong Quan district, Hua Phan province (Laos) because the unit received support in the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of the Border Guard Station".
