Bilateral border patrols to protect the border during the 2025 New Year holiday.
On December 30th, My Ly Border Guard Station, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command, and Border Guard Company 217 - Hua Phan Provincial Military Command (Laos) conducted a joint patrol from marker 395 to marker 396 on the Vietnam-Laos border.
Despite the cold, rainy weather and rugged terrain, the patrol team inspected the border markers and the national border demarcation system. As a result, the border markers remained undisturbed, and the border posts were found to be in their original, safe condition.

This is an important activity aimed at promptly detecting violations of border regulations, resolving incidents occurring along the border, and protecting the security and safety of the common border. At the same time, it aims to maintain political stability, social order, and security in the border areas on both sides during the 2025 New Year holiday.

On this occasion, My Ly Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Party Committee and the government of My Ly commune, Ky Son district, held an exchange of information related to border management and protection, and presented gifts to Border Guard Company 217.
The My Ly Border Guard Station also presented 5 million VND to support Xong Ba Cong, a child from Huoi Pa village, Muong Quan district, Hua Phan province (Laos), who is being supported by the unit under the "Helping Children Go to School - Children Adopted by Border Guard Stations" program.
