(Baonghean.vn) – More than 300 athletes arrived to participate in the 17th Phu Dong Sports Festival of Tuong Duong district in 2015 on the morning of October 31st.
The Phu Dong Sports Festival in Tuong Duong district is divided into two clusters. The first cluster includes the communes located along National Highway 7, and the second cluster includes the remaining eight communes.
The competition for cluster 2 took place from January 31st to November 1st in Nga My commune. The Phu Dong Sports Festival for communes in cluster 1 will be held on November 7th and 8th at the Ethnic Boarding Secondary School in Tuong Duong district. Athletes will compete in 17 events across 5 sports: athletics, stick pushing, football, volleyball, and chess.
The competition aims to further promote the movement "All people practice physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh" in secondary education, contributing to improving the physical health and comprehensive education of students.
