Young people in Do Luong district mobilize for irrigation work.
(Baonghean.vn) - In response to Youth Month and to celebrate the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26), the Do Luong District Youth Union recently organized a campaign to improve irrigation systems in the fields of Hien Son commune.
In this campaign, the Youth Union mobilized 200 members from Do Luong 4 High School and 100 members and young people from Hien Son commune to participate in dredging the canal in Ru Den hamlet, Hien Son commune.

This is an important irrigation canal system for the commune, but after many years of siltation, its water carrying capacity has been reduced. The meaningful and practical activities of the youth of Do Luong district aim to help Hien Son commune improve its irrigation system, serving agricultural production and irrigating dozens of hectares of rice and other crops.
After a day of intensive work, the team dug and constructed 1.5 km of canals, clearing the waterways. With the pioneering spirit of youth, the young members enthusiastically participated. This action demonstrates the pioneering spirit of the youth of Do Luong in building new rural areas.
In the coming period, the youth of Do Luong district will organize many campaigns to help communes in the district build irrigation and transportation infrastructure, and improve environmental sanitation, contributing to the implementation of the national target program on building new rural areas.
