The youth of Nghe An are spreading the "Green Youth" journey.
On the morning of April 29th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized a conference to summarize the Youth Month 2026, aiming to evaluate the results of the series of activities of Nghe An youth with the theme "Green Youth".

Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thom - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

Completed and exceeded 10 targets.
To implement Youth Month 2026, based on closely following the work program of the Central Youth Union, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony and related activities throughout the province with 4 peak weeks, 15 provincial-level activities and 10 key targets.
As a result of Youth Month, Nghe An province has completed and exceeded all 10 key targets set. Notably, more than 312,000 youth union members and young people participated in volunteer activities; 315 youth initiatives were implemented; and 125,000 new trees were planted.

Significant results have been achieved in supporting the holistic development of young people. Over 25,000 young people received career counseling; more than 5,300 were referred to jobs; 8,400 young people participated in activities to improve their foreign language skills and international integration; and 6,120 disadvantaged children received support.
The Nghe An Youth Union also actively participated with many creative ideas in the propaganda work for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2026-2031, with a total ofOver 500,000 youth union members and young people participated in propaganda activities; 130 youth volunteer teams were established to support election work.

The "Popular Digital Literacy Movement" has been widely implemented with 600 community digital technology groups, involving over 15,500 youth union members supporting more than 250,000 people in accessing public services, making electronic payments, and acquiring digital skills.
The entire province organized 159 activities to popularize digital skills for the people. Many youth projects applying technology were implemented, such as digitizing historical relics, the VR360 project at the martyrs' cemetery, and digital check-in points serving traditional education; a total of 22 digitization projects with a value of over 310 million VND.

Volunteer activities continued to be a highlight of Youth Month. Throughout the province, 729 youth projects and initiatives were implemented, involving over 110,000 youth union members and totaling over 18 billion VND in value.
Many practical initiatives have been implemented, such as the "Lighting Up Rural Roads" project spanning over 56.5 km; the construction of 28 charitable houses; support for 35 livelihood models; the renovation of 2.3 km of rural roads; and the organization of 19 "Green Sunday" and "Volunteer Saturday" events. Nghe An youth have also actively protected the environment, eliminating 135 pollution hotspots, implementing flower-lined roads, youth flag-lined roads, civilized urban models, and establishing 130 youth teams to respond to climate change.

Spreading the spirit of Youth Month
Beyond just specific activities and practical results, through the Youth Month of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union continues to require all levels of the Youth Union to use the achieved results as motivation, maintain enthusiasm, enhance responsibility, act more decisively and creatively, contributing to the successful implementation of the Youth Union's work and youth movement in 2026.
The focus is on continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, especially applying digital transformation in Youth Union work; improving the effectiveness of propaganda and education work and promoting the role of Youth Union officials in guiding and leading young people.

In addition, the Youth Union at all levels continues to organize Summer Youth Volunteer Campaigns, activities to celebrate major holidays and political tasks of the province and localities, agencies, and units in a practical and effective manner, contributing to promoting the overall development of the province.

Concluding the Youth Month activities in 2026, the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 10 individuals; the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 51 collectives and 78 individuals for their outstanding achievements in organizing Youth Month activities in 2026.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province also awarded Certificates of Commendation to two individuals for their outstanding achievements in saving lives in emergency situations.
