(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 29th, in Cua Lo town, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Cua Lo Town Youth Union, organized the launching ceremony of the campaign "Nghe An Youth joining hands for a Green, Clean, and Beautiful Environment".
Attending the launch ceremony were Comrade Vu Minh Ly - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's Youth Solidarity and Mobilization Department, Director of the National Volunteer Center; Comrade Pham Tuan Vinh - Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, the Cua Lo Youth Shock Team for Culture and Tourism, and more than 500 Youth Union members from wards, communes, and agencies in the area.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, youth union members participated in collecting waste, soil, and rocks, cleaning up 4km of coastline and the surrounding area of Cua Lo beach.
The beach cleanup campaign is an activity regularly organized by the Youth Union members of the province to promote the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people. It also calls on the community to join hands in protecting the marine environment through practical actions.
