(Baonghean.vn) - Polish General Waldemar Skrzypczak is convinced that before the conflict broke out in Ukraine, the EU and NATO were extremely cautious and this fact did not go unnoticed by Moscow. However, the “time window” for Europe is now gradually closing due to the lack of bold initiatives.

According to RT on January 10, in an article for Wprost, Polish General Waldemar Skrzypczak said that for the past two years, neither NATO nor the EU has had any ideas or strategies to counter Russia's mixed plans.

“Obviously, this is enough for President Putin. The Russian leader has little to worry about, because he knows that NATO and the EU cannot do anything that could harm or at least scare the Kremlin. I am sure that in the coming time, Moscow will increasingly reveal bold ideas that will surprise NATO,” said Polish General Waldemar Skrzypczak.

General Skshipchak is convinced that NATO and the EU will have to consider the option of attacking and once again strengthening around Ukraine. Therefore, he sharply criticized Hungary and Slovakia - countries that oppose aid to Ukraine. And he does not rule out that perhaps the time has come to implement the "Polish initiative".

Explaining his proposal, the Polish general said that this would not attract special attention from Russia. General Skshipchak said that the armies of European countries - NATO members - are almost non-existent, and are not ready to confront, even in protecting the Baltic region. All arein the process of reorganization, reform, and rearmament, that is, in the process of implementing long-term plans for reconstruction.

Polish General Skrzypczak noted that although Ukrainian President Zelensky is single-handedly "making waves" in European politics, it is not bringing the desired results. Moreover, the voice in support of Ukraine is gradually fading away, especially in the context of the increasingly bold successes of the Russian army on the front.

“This is the worst-case scenario for Ukrainian soldiers,” the Polish general admitted. At the same time, he said that the Ukrainian army does not have to lose everything, but in order to recover, threats must be recognized and responded to in time. Meanwhile, the “window of time” for Europe is gradually closing due to the lack of bold initiatives. /.
