1. In 2022, the socio-economic situation in the district maintained a stable growth rate, and security and order were upheld; 20 out of 28 targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and 20 out of 23 targets assigned by the District People's Council were achieved or exceeded.

2. The total value of production in 2022 (at 2010 constant prices) is estimated at VND 5,884,011 million, reaching 98.3% of the Provincial People's Council Resolution; the growth rate of total production in 2022 increased by 9%; all three economic sectors had higher growth rates of total production compared to the same period in 2021 (agriculture, forestry and fisheries increased by 5.7%; industry and construction increased by 10.2%; trade and services increased by 6.1%).

3. Average per capita income is estimated at 34.02 million VND, reaching 100.1% of the target set by the District People's Council Resolution, an increase of 11.9% compared to the same period last year.

4. Focus on maintaining the criteria for achieving new rural standards in the four communes of Tam Thai, Tam Quang, Tam Dinh, and Xa Luong; develop a plan and roadmap to help Luu Kien commune achieve the goal.

5. During the year, 12 economic development models were implemented. To date, there are 296 effective models operating in the district, contributing to improving living standards and increasing income for the people. Two new cooperatives were established (Yen Na Xanh Cooperative and Tay Nghe Environmental Services Cooperative), bringing the total number of cooperatives in the district to 23.

6. Total state budget revenue in 2022 is estimated at 814,460 million VND, reaching 125.8% of the provincial target and 127% of the district People's Council target. Of this, local budget revenue is estimated at 39,158 million VND, reaching 152.4% of the provincial target and 130.3% of the district People's Council target, an increase of 0.9% compared to the same period.

7. During the year, 10 schools received quality accreditation and national standard school certification (including 2 newly accredited schools and 8 schools that were re-accredited), bringing the total number of national standard schools in the district to 29, achieving 103.6% of the plan.

8. Health insurance policies, especially for poor households, children under 5 years old, and social welfare beneficiaries, are ensured; the percentage of the population participating in health insurance is estimated at 90%, reaching 90% of the plan, 97.8% compared to the District People's Council Resolution, and an increase of 12.5% ​​compared to the same period.

9. In 2022, the area welcomed approximately 10,000 visitors, generating total revenue of over 8 billion VND. Many eco-tourism and community-based tourism service models have been initially formed and developed, bringing economic benefits to the people, such as the Tam Quang eco-tourism cluster (Nam Xan eco-tourism area) - Tam Dinh (Sang Le forest, Khe Co, Quang Phuc) - Van Temple, Khe Ngau, Xa Luong commune - Nha Vang waterfall, Nhon Mai commune - Sang Le forest, waterwheel, Cooc village, Yen Hoa commune…

10. The poverty rate decreased from 39.38% to 34.88%. The number of trained workers reached 4,000, achieving 160% of the plan, 266.7% of the District People's Council Resolution, and a 100% increase compared to the same period last year; of which 1,025 workers received vocational training, achieving 53.2% of the plan, and 128.1% of the District People's Council Resolution; and 6,000 workers found employment, achieving 428.6% of the plan, 600% of the District People's Council Resolution, and a 140% increase compared to the same period last year.
