The total value of production in 2023 (at 2010 constant prices) is estimated at over 5,750 billion VND, reaching 91.12% of the Provincial People's Council Resolution; the growth rate in 2023 reached 1.34% (of which: agriculture, forestry and fisheries increased by 4.55%; industry and construction decreased by 0.2%; trade and services increased by 5.97%). Average per capita income is estimated at 36.02 million VND, reaching 98.4% of the Provincial People's Council Resolution, an increase of 5.94% compared to the same period.

Total state budget revenue for the year is estimated at nearly 1,112 billion VND, an increase of 64.1% compared to the provincial budget estimate, an increase of 62.3% compared to the district People's Council's budget estimate, and an increase of 17% compared to the same period last year. Of this, budget revenue within the district is estimated at over 38 billion VND, an increase of 65.0% compared to the provincial budget estimate, an increase of 26.4% compared to the district People's Council's budget estimate, and equivalent to 88.3% compared to the same period last year.

Overall, the cultural, social, health, and basic education and training sectors have remained stable and achieved many positive results. Social security policies and policies for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution have been fully implemented.

In 2023, three more ethnic minority boarding primary schools were established; Thach Giam Town Kindergarten was merged into Hoa Binh Kindergarten; two more separate school locations were eliminated; four schools received external evaluation and accreditation at level 2, achieving national standards at level 1; 4,200 jobs were created, reaching 300% of the plan and 168% of the People's Council resolution; poverty reduction efforts were consistently prioritized; the poverty rate decreased by 4.52%, bringing it down from 34.03% to 29.51%.

Thanks to the efforts of Party committees and authorities from the district to the grassroots level, the national target program for building new rural areas in Tuong Duong district in 2023 continued to achieve important results. The movement has truly become a part of daily life, spreading and receiving active support from all levels, sectors, localities, units, and people in the district. To date, 4 communes have met all 19 criteria; 6 communes have met 10-14 criteria; and 6 communes have met 5-9 criteria.

Furthermore, national defense, political security, and social order and safety in the district have always been maintained.
