Ms. Kha Thi Hien, Chairwoman of the Tam Quang Commune People's Committee, said: "This is the second time this month these households have had to relocate to avoid the risk of landslides. The district's working group directly inspected the relocation work and distributed some essential supplies to the households subject to relocation."

According to data from the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district, heavy rains damaged 41 houses; and 63 households had to evacuate people and property.
Heavy rains also caused landslides and damage to many roads; the road in Pha Lom village was damaged by landslides in two sections, each 12 meters long and approximately 11 meters long.3A large volume of soil and rocks was swept away; the bridge connecting Khoi and Xoong Con villages in Tam Thai commune was submerged, cutting off access between the two villages; one side of the pedestrian bridge leading to Khe Map was washed away, leaving the bridge exposed.

In Ky Son district,Many houses were damaged by landslides, including: In Na Loi commune, 5 houses were damaged, including 1 house with 5 people in Tong Khu village (damaged by landslide on October 30th); 4 houses with 20 people in Don Pong village (damaged by landslide on October 29th). In Chieu Luu commune, 3 houses with 20 people were damaged (2 households with 14 people in Luu Tien village (damaged by landslide on October 29th), and 1 household with 6 people in Khe Tang village (damaged by landslide on October 30th).
In Nam Can commune, 3 households with 15 people, all residing in Tien Tieu village, were affected by landslides on October 29th.

Heavy rain also causeslandslideDamaged the Pha Danh Commune Kindergarten and the Xop Phe Village Community House in Muong Tip Commune.
Previously, starting on October 21st, Ky Son district organized the relocation of 5 villages in 3 communes: Muong Tip, Muong Ai, and Bao Nam, affecting 300 households and 1,500 people. Thanks to the timely relocation, there were no casualties.

The People's Committee of Ky Son district has organized delegations to visit and provide materials to rebuild houses in safe areas. The People's Committee is continuing to inspect and review households in landslide-prone areas, and if the weather conditions worsen, residents will have to be relocated to safer areas.
In Anh Son and Con Cuong districts, severe landslides have occurred, prompting the emergency relocation of many households.
