However, since arriving at Old Trafford, the 24-year-old has failed to maintain consistent form, scoring only 5 goals in 56 Premier League games. He has frequently been used as a substitute and has only made two Premier League appearances this season, highlighting manager Erik ten Hag's preference for Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, and Amad.
Faced with these difficulties, there are reports that two English clubs, Newcastle and Crystal Palace, are interested in Antony and may inquire about loaning him in the January 2025 transfer window. However, the former Ajax star seems to want to leave the Premier League to seek more playing opportunities. In August, there were rumors of a move to Real Betis, but that deal fell through. Fenerbahce, under manager Jose Mourinho, also showed interest, but negotiations did not progress.
